S22 Ultra Battery test is now live too! irglo.info/from/itKcloqlrcy0nnE/fy-lm-h-y.html
Which CPU/GPU is in the S22 Ultra? Exynos or Snapdragon?
Let swap phone bro
Samsung Ss2 and Pixel 6 pro
Aruns personality and the way he presents the content just flat out makes this the most enjoyable tech channel on IRglo. Hands down
My man goku here :)
He's a really cool guy.
haha goku in here
MY GOD I AM SO HAPPY SAMSUNG FINALLY BEING PASSIONATE ABOUT WHAT THEY MAKE .... Like just look at the amount of love and praise they are getting for S22 series the demand is very high the stocks are emptying the uniform premium aesthetic design and I am so happy SAMSUNG is focusing on smallest stuffs like haptics camera shutter lag as well as the smooth fluid UI experience and many more small things making things consistent ..... GOD I AM SO HAPPY GUYS I GUESS SAMSUNG IS BACK APPLE"S GONNA FACE SOME HEAT NOW OFFICIALLY cuz earlier Samsung was destroying apple unofficially on hardware side but now hahahahaha welcome back SAMMY
@Bacot Santuy what?
That feature where when you zoom in on something or someone, the microphone is able to make you hear whatever your zooming in on louder. That’s insanely cool. I never knew the phones did that .
@FluffyKitty its like new football players going to a famous powerful team, they are still there but they're useless
@xScarLord • 30 years ago HTC's design team actually became that of the Pixel. So they are still here under another brand.
Only the new ones do that
@DrippieDeThuan they both have their advantages. I wish IOS had split screen.
IOS or ANDROID?
Idk why I watched this whole thing when I can’t afford either of these phones. Your videos are just _that_ entertaining and well-made!
same😭😂like it's just satisfying 😹
Hahahahahahahah!!!! Me too!!
yeah sure same here
S22 ultra major trade in deals on samsungs website right now
Samsung's website finance interest free options bro
Wow this series is great. I was blown away by the 30x zoom on the S22 ultra. Thanks for doing this in depth testing and review! Big fan of your channel!
S22 ultra has 100x zoom too
The fact that Arun is just “having carefree fun” all throughout while seamlessly comparing the two phones and making an informative YT video, is why I love this guy
The 30x zoom in the Samsung has nearly as good quality as my regular camera without using zoom 😂
@Hideyo Thx I had a feeling the photo was fake
@Uzumaki Pain thinking of buying the next pixel...or the pixel 6A
@Ritam u need to upgarde to oneplus 9 pro
@MD. FARDIN KHAN idk man....maybe going to move on..
@Ritam upgrade your phone to latest one plus phone
One more comment: this review shows the real dilemma of (good) reviewers. Arun himself says that despite the results show that Samsung is apparently a better phone he would choose the iPhone. And that's the strength of Apple. It doesn't tell you the whole truth if you compare individual technical details, because despite in many respects Apple might be defeated, in the end in real life situations many will prefer the phone which is more "convenient to use" (not to speak about cross platform synergies). But it is hardly possible to objectively compare "usability" without rasing suspicions from either side for being "biased", and which "type of customer" would you pick anyhow when assessing "usability"... (sidenote about being biased: I use a Samsung phone currently, had iPhone previously)
Thank you. I was almost feeling bad that I finally sold my 13 pro Max for a new S22 Ultra Snapdragon. But this video encouraged me that it wasn't a bad decision after all. Thanks bro. Your reviews are stellar!
@marcusvco go for it
Tell bro how is your phone working
Hi ! How is your decision till now ? I want T try the same move . Best !
Minute 9:10 is a good example of how the cameras different at different distances. They both seem like great cameras and I was able to check them out In the store the other day to get a feel, not a real test I know. They both seem great, both have issues, at times one is clearer than the other. Hard decision to make. Great video like always
I have been using iPhone for 7 years and now I want to switch to Android phone with Samsung. When I thoroughly reviewed the newly released Android phones, the iPhone always seemed one step ahead. With the S22 Ultra, I can easily say that the Android phone is now one step ahead. When I examine a phone, I first look at camera comparisons. The camera is very important to me because of my job. I watched the comparison videos of many users, yes, in some modes, the iPhone may be more clear and prominent in bringing colors to the fore, but I think the iPhone kills the naturalness. I think the S22 Ultra gives a more natural look. Especially in the photos taken in sunny weather, the clarity of the clouds may be clearer than the iPhone, but let's not forget that the S22 Ultra offers them as a first impression as it comes out of the box and without any camera-specific updates. I think it will give much better results when Samsung gets an update in the future, especially for the camera. The S22 Ultra is truly amazing. The only problem for me right now seems to be the price. If I exceed it, there seems to be no reason not to buy the S22 Ultra 😊
All Samsung is d best for now
@Ashraf uddin bruh stop telling lies u never owned it ur just an apple fanboy with a cracked iphone 4
Don’t do it cause reviewer always prefer to promote android devices don’t listen to them iPhone is always best I personally used s22 u for sometime it’s camera is not looked good don’t believe in IRglor They just make video to make people watch
I brought s22 ultra....only it's camera is good. Performance is very bad... editing and rendering. I again switched back to my old Iphone xs max
I used to use a Samsung (s20) and I prefer my iPhone 12 more. I do believe that Samsung has a better camera, but the iPhone still has a great one, and their Face ID feature is unmatched. My mom owns both the s22 and s22+, and my dad owns the s22 ultra and the Face ID on those phones is pretty bad
bung bung budung?
yep mee to
@What is life but the enjoyment of delusion? don't call me gay
The quality of your content and the straightforward approach to reviewing is why I watch your videos, but the "if you want to brighten... my day" bit is why I liked the video.
For anyone that's considering either phone based off the cameras the s22 ultra is far better even in video. What he forgets to mention is the pro photo and video option on the s22 ultra that does amazing photography and videos
No, on video iphone is better. The stabilization is better on iphone and the s22 make an oversharpening to the image. I used both phones. S22 ultra is better With the zoom. Just wanted to point it out. I Still prefer the s22 Just because it have more megapixels and zoom.
The best camera I've ever had was on Samsung Galaxy S2+, and overal that was phenomenal phone with affordable prices, It just always amazed in terms of camera, hardware and design. When years later I broke it. I realized that, the whole industry is turn in wrong direction.
This is a great review. I do question how blurry the S22 Ultra's videos look during this review. I have never experienced this with my S21U or S22U. Could it be a setting issue?
Not just his review, look at any video comparison between 13 pro and S22U, and the S22U video looks absolutely awful. Maxtech does a really good job of highlighting this. I just can't help but notice how smeary it is
And also he may use the ultra steady mode on s22u which also makes the video blurry
I know what you mean, I think it’s a IRglo compression issue. I’m always so iffy about watching video comparisons on IRglo
Wow, that zoom and moon shot was insane difference
@advaitaa Funny aswell is that Apple is using that software the whole fucking time already. But what ever people always will be mad at Samsung for being better hahhaha
I have s22 ultra yes it is capable for that shoot 🌕
It's sad people actually think the moon pictures are real
That's an awesome review comparison, thank you ! At 10:12, yes we can see that Samsung's nightshots are very bright... But look inside building's lighted windows, it still gets more details and has "less" brightness in that sense than the i13. HOwever, the drawback is th night sky on those pictures : it seems to be very difficult to get clear objects but still keep the sensation of an immersive night time (like the sky getting almost as blue as during some stormy day). For those night shots (buildings for instance), when I photograph fixed objects, I still use an aperture camera with exposition timings, it's unbeatable.
☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️ Thanks for watching You have been selected among my lucky winners inbox now.
Even after watching this video I still feel like I can't really decide which one is better! It depends on what you're actually using it for! Samsung cameras have higher mega pixels which makes them have more details & much better zoom.. so in case you want to see something very far away that you can't see with your own eyes you can use your mobile's camera to see it. On Apple it's not nearly as good as samsung! But Apple cameras have better lenses, this is a fact that I've to admit as a Samsung fan, I've never bought an iphone. But from what I've seen when I'm going out with my friends, when we're taking pictures, selfies whether it was at day or at night or at home, iphone always wins it just makes humans look more alive, on Samsung everyone just looks like a dead object 😅 maybe because the camera is too good and it shows all the details that we don't want to see! Also, iphone camera's focus wins easily! So it really depends on what you're going to use your camera for! For example if you're in a vacation and you wanna take a picture of a building, use Samsung.. if you wanna take a picture of yourself, use an iphone! Which one to buy? I still can't decide!
You can't decide but I'm thankful to your comment it helps me to decide. I'm selfie lover now I will buy iPhone 13 not pro just iPhone 13
Love your videos, Arun. What would you suggest to an user who uses his phone for product photography and editing documents? Because I'm kinda torn between S22Ultra and 13ProMax. Appreciate your suggestion!
Thanks for watching🔝🔝🔝....message right away I have something for you 🆙🆙🆙
Holy crap! That S22 zoom in on the moon sold me. Amazing for a phone.
@Jared Champagne cool
The moon picture is AI software, it knows you’re taking a picture of the moon and it adds details to it from other pictures of the moon that have been captured by extremely high end cameras or telescopes. The s22 is great, but its not going to take detailed pictures of craters on the moon, look it up if you don’t believe it.
thats exactly what i was thinking 😦
Love your videos man! Love the puns you make! So happy to see your channel is getting more and more recognition it definitely deserves! Keep it up
I am always looking forward to his videos, I have the notification on just to stay in the loop.
iPhone 13 onlys get something because the full software and the chips and cores are in there hand if Sam sung did that it will be 9j the moon
@Ryan Mikael Jesus loves us all that's why he died for our sins.
Jesus loves us all that's why he died for our sins, cussing and using GOD'S NAME in vain is against GOD'S WORD and it's a sin.
Awesome comparison love it. Im getting the Ultra during the summer. Both the moon shot and the shutterlag can be manually matched by the samsung. Sure its slower in auto mode but it is not a permanent weakness. Especially if you are already taking a shot where you have plenty of time.
I am here to enjoy how beautifully u present the subject rather than focussing on the subject...u r just a Pro version of all the tech youtubers:)
The one thing that I love that the iPhone has over the Samsung is the Crispness. That's always been the one thing in photography I've struggled with is the Crispness. The one thing that would have made the Samsung superior to the iPhone. Disappointing since I ordered the Samsung already. 12:23 and 12:54. The crispness I give to iPhone hands down. Edit. The iPhone does have better anti-glare I noticed too. 12:04
WTF? Is this really smartphones we are talking about here? The fact, that a heavily zoomed footage of a smartphone can be comfortably be watched on a 15" 2.5k screen is phenomenal!
The complexity and level of effort Arun puts into the camera comparisons is goated, this man deserves all the respect for constantly brining out interesting, non biased, detailed content 👏
@Ifeanyichukwu Ofortube finally someone else sees it. He keeps making excuses to choose iPhone in the end.
Yup same and the editing I love it
His biase is nearing goat levels, too. Watch again and see how he just leans towards the iPhone even in cases where it's so clear the Samsung won. Even at the end he stated that the S22 didn't improve over the S21 as he expected, but I thought this was supposed to the a comparison between it and the iPhone 13, which by the way asides the brighter night mode, didn't offer any significant difference from the iphone 12. The biase for Apple is too real. Mind you, I'm just a neutral and I own both Apple and Samsung phones.
Me too, for me Arun's one of the best comparison as well as camera, phone tester on the entire internet.
As a content consume who only rarely uses video, I absolutely LOVE my S22 Ultra for its' camera. I've long preferred Samsung cameras to iPhone. And even more so now. For the few times I do use video - mostly with my pets indoors - S22 Ultra video is more than adequate.
I am now deciding between the 2, and since I do have dslr camera and now how to use manual setting, so far the difference I've seen, all of these photos couldve been the same if you made minor changes to settings, that is why if deciding factor for anyone is camera just learn basic manual settings since both phones are good. For me, I think I will switch to iPhone since having Samsung, whenever I see an update I wanna cry, and do not trust those upcoming updates. And I cannot belive that I am gonna switch from Samsung to Apple cuz I do not want updates destroying my phone..
Samsung has reached this good quality. The one last thing they need to do to step up on iphone is to keep the consistency of the image that came out from every lens, as you mentioned. Iphone could do that, while samsung still couldn't reach that level. Now samsung already got sharper image, good video stabilization, good portrait, great night mode, they only need one step left to beat the iphone. That is the image consistency from all the lenses.
I was wondering which phone is the best for good video quality while being zoomed in a lot like if you were at a concert? I’d love to hear what people with either phone have to say :-)
Best comparison I’ve seen by far! Comprehensive, fun and totally enjoyable to watch😃
@F L R S H not at all.
And a bit sponsored by Samsung 😅
It is a great video video chat video you 😆😢😁😁😢😁🤣😁😂
Supersaf os far better
I give it a draw all in all. Both have the potential to work on their respective weaknesses and further blur the line. Samsung may have more resolve to actually do that, though, while Apple sits back on their haunches. Case in point is the USB port. While Apple is STILL using the lightning port, Samsung not only is using USB-C but is actually taking active advantage of it with the creation and investment into Dex (the ability to use your phone as a desktop Android computer). Apple can't even think about a Dex-like feature while it still uses lightning and it's USB2 speed.
Thanks for commenting ⬆️⬆️ You were shortlisted among one my lucky winners Hit me up right away 🎉🎁
I think you should have also compared the Expert RAW app on the Samsung. It really changes everything
Samsung is doing such a good job ♥️✌️
@sizzle consistent in some cases, as they miss very important features. I do agree that in most cases the video quality on iphone 13 pro max is much better, but it's only that
@Mr.Mestre lol no, he’s not ‘attached’ to apple, just because samsung won more categories separately, as a whole apple is more consistent - that’s why it’s a draw
Cleary the winner here, but seems like he is too attached to apple
